1. Chocolate tiffin
This tempting chocolate tiffin is a sweet treat that won’t break the bank, using storecupboard staples such as golden syrup, crushed biscuits and a few spoonfuls of cocoa powder. Baking novices and younger chefs will love this easy recipe, which sets in the fridge overnight for minimal fuss.
2. Savoury biscuits
Got a dad who loves cheese? Bake him the perfect accompaniment with these manchego & chorizo biscuits. Alternatively, our cheese & rosemary biscuits are bound to be a hit – or, for a longer-lasting gift that’s robust enough to send in the post, try our savoury biscotti.
3. Homemade fudge
Our popular vanilla fudge makes a lovely present and can be easily boxed up or sealed in a sweet shop-style paper bag. This traditional method requires a little patience to make, so if you need an easier recipe try our fast truffle fudge or our microwave boozy fudge – both equally as delicious. If dad is a chocolate lover, he'll be more than pleased with our chocolate fudge.

Alternatively you could make this Scottish tablet for a sweet treat – tablet is similar to fudge, but with a more crumbly texture.
4. Sweet biscuits
Get the kids involved and make a batch of these brilliant bourbon biscuits, or if you’re feeling sentimental, try these jammy heart drops. Our quick and easy florentines are ready in under an hour and make up to 35 squares. With only five ingredients, these double chocolate shortbreads are another easy option for a biscuit-mad dad – along with our perennially popular chocolate fudge crinkle biscuits.
5. Boozy bottles
Looking for a more grown-up gift? If you have time before the big day, make a batch of refreshing limoncello to toast the occasion, or put seasonal produce to good use with a rhubarb & strawberry vodka. Is dad partial to a martini? Put together a bespoke martini mixology kit, or read our guide on how to make flavoured spirits for even more infusion ideas.
6. Picnic treats
Plan a posh picnic on Father’s Day and make it extra special by making a few homemade treats such as mini pork pies with piccalilli, summer sausage rolls and scotch eggs. For more inspiration, take a look at our picnic recipe collection.
7. Delicious chutneys
Accompany some top-notch local cheeses or charcuterie with a jar of lovingly-made chutney – we think bacon jam, seasonal runner bean chutney, this gorgeous sweet chilli sauce or chorizo jam would work perfectly for Father’s Day. A jar of these colourful, spiced quick pickled onions would add piquancy to a ploughman’s, or take 10 minutes to make a jar of marinated goat's cheese. You could even take it one step further by pairing homemade chutney with a homemade baked camembert kit. Whatever your dad’s taste, you can customise the jar with homemade labels for extra brownie points.
8. Special truffles
Handcrafted truffles are easier to make than you might think – our easy chocolate truffles use just a few ingredients and can be adapted to whatever liqueurs take your fancy. For a real sense of luxury, choose impressive tiramisu or mint chocolate flavours.
9. Terrific traybakes
If you want to keep it simple or need a recipe the kids can make, traybakes are a good solution that will keep everyone happy. Try this coconut & jam macaroon traybake for retro flavours, an easy millionaire’s shortbread or our best ever chocolate brownies.
10. Chocolate bark
If all else fails and you’ve run out of time before 21 June, our easy chocolate bark is always on hand as a quick gift solution. You can swap the chocolate for whatever dad likes best, and decorate with your own choice of toppings – glacé cherries, mini marshmallows and chocolate buttons all work well. Is dad a fruit and nut fan? Try our super-simple salted fruit 'n' nut bark, or recreate our speedy peanut brittle for a last-minute gift – it takes just over 5 minutes to make!
