Creamy nutmeg eggnog

Rich and creamy booze-free eggnog for the whole family to enjoy

INGREDIENTS

  • - 4 egg yolks
  • - 70g caster sugar
  • - 500ml semi-skimmed milk
  • - 100ml double cream
  • - 1 tsp Schwartz Whole Nutmeg, grated

METHOD

1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together vigorously for a few mins until the mixture turns pale and creamy. Add the milk, cream and the grated Schwartz Whole Nutmeg, and mix together again before serving. For an alcoholic eggnog, simply add 25ml of bourbon, rum or brandy to the mixture.
