Charlotte Morgan

Sub-editor and travel writer

Charlotte Morgan joined olive in 2014 as Web & Commissioning Editor, during which time she launched the magazine's first website (it reached 1,000,000 page views a month before she left in 2017, which seemed like a lot at the time!). Charlotte now regularly freelances for olive as a sub-editor and writer. Charlotte is a NCTJ-trained journalist with 10 years’ experience in the food industry, plus a background in news reporting. She has worked for UKTV Food and was Editor at lovefood.com, which won its first Guild of Food Writers Award (the New Media Award, 2013) while she was there. Charlotte, who studied history at Warwick University, is a keen baker and has sold her cakes at St Albans Farmers' Market. She also has a passion for both Italian and vegetarian food, and has reviewed many restaurants for olive and Time Out. She also acts as a travel writer for olive, having visited the likes of New England, Slovenia, Denmark and Puglia over the course of her time at the magazine.
