A lovely low calorie desert

Ingredients

  • 175 gr sugar
  • Lemon rind
  • Cinnamon bark
  • 150ml red wine
  • 150ml water
  • 6 conference pears

Method

  • STEP 1
    Slowly bring all ingredients to the boil until sugar dissolves.
  • STEP 2
    Then increase the heat and add pears (either halved or cut in slices)
