  • 360g Chopped Chocolate
  • 110g Softened Butter
  • 130g Peanut Butter
  • 220g Dark Soft Brown Sugar
  • 100g Caster Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 310g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 190C

  2. Chop up the chocolate into small chunks so that they'll melt into the micture when baking

  3. Beat together the butter, peanut butter, soft brown sugar and caster sugar until smooth

  4. Whisk the eggs in a mug with a fork, then add to the mixture and beat in

  5. Stir in the golden syrup, water and vanilla essence

  6. Stir in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt, then the chocolate chunks

  7. Line a tray with greaseproof paper and put spoonfuls of mixture on it with plenty of room between for them to spread out

  8. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes and remove while still gooey

  9. Leave on the tray to cool for 5 minutes before removing
