KERALA BREAD

This is a crunchy bread actually quite similar to a baguette. but instead of baking it it actually fried but is extremely tasty. It is considered as a evening delicacy in my state

Ingredients

  • 1. Sugar- 4 cups
  • 2. Egg- 4 nos
  • 3. Cardamom- a pinch
  • 4. All purpose flour- 8 cups
  • 5. Ghee - 1 cup (or butter 4 sticks
  • 6. Oil to fry (preferably coconut)

Method

  • STEP 1
    • Mix the sugar,egg,and cardamom power with a whisk • Until the sugar completely melts
  • STEP 2
    • Add the flour and mix it to dough form • The mix with ghee and mix again, shape it to balls
  • STEP 3
    • Fry in oil till golden • Store in a cool and dark place preferably not in a plastic container.
