Ingredients
- 225g self raising flour
- 50g butter
- 100 ml milk
Method
- STEP 1Put the flour in a bowl and add the butter, cut into pieces
- STEP 2Rub the butter into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs
- STEP 3Add enough milk to make a soft dough
- STEP 4Roll the dough onto a lightly floured surface until 1-1.5 cm thick
- STEP 5Cut the scones and place on a baking tray
- STEP 6Bake at 200°, gas mark 6, 180°(fan oven) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown
