How is the Ninja Foodi Zerostick to use?

One of our favourite things about this frying pan is the handle. Not only is it sleek and attractive, but the slim design means it’s really comfortable to hold. If you don’t like stacking your cookware, there’s also a hole at the end so you can hang it up.

The handle is solid too, so there’s no risk of water gathering anywhere. When we were cooking, we did notice that it gets hot towards the pan-side, though not so hot that we couldn’t cook with it.

This frying pan is quick to heat up, taking around two minutes. We also found it responsive to changes in temperature.

The pan is dishwasher safe, though considering nothing stuck to the pan, a quick hand wash was all it needed.

This pan is also incredibly versatile; it’s not just a fantastic performer on the hob, but it can go in the oven up to 260C. Ideal for finishing off dishes under the grill.

Results

To put this frying pan to the test, we cooked two classic recipes: American pancakes and a basic omelette.

After adding the whisked eggs to the pan we instantly lowered the temperature. After a couple of minutes of cooking, the omelette was evenly cooked. Both halves were evenly and consistently browned, too. The omelette slipped out of the pan after cooking, leaving no residue.

Although the non-stick coating is fantastic, when we poured in our thick pancake batter, the batter spread further than we’d have liked. Despite this, the pancakes were well-cooked and fluffy. Both sides were smooth and patch free, too. We saw the same results wherever we placed the batter, meaning this pan distributes heat evenly.

NINJA PANCAKE

Conclusion

If you’re in the market for a sturdy frying pan with an exceptional non-stick, this Ninja offering is a fantastic choice. It’s suitable for every hob type and can also go in the oven up to a high temperature.

The handle is comfortable, but do be aware that it gets pretty warm towards the pan end.

Overall, this is a robust frying pan that is available in a good range of sizes, ideal for every type of cook.
