Method
step 1
Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
step 2
Put 95g sweet potato, cut into fries, on a baking tray and toss with 1 tsp rapeseed oil and ¼ tsp cayenne pepper. Bake in the oven for 20 mins and serve.

I coated the baking tray with a fine layer of Fry Light, dusted the fries with a little bit of cayenne pepper, put them on the tray and then sprayed some Fry Light over the top. Cooked for 20 minutes as per the recipe and ended up with nice firm fries. This should help people who find the fries…

If you like rigid, crispy chips, this recipe is not for you, but for me they're perfect. Super tasty and good texture.

I agree with the other negative comment. Soggy, not crispy at all and I gave them longer. Will look for another recipe.

I would suggest freezing them in a bag with about a tablespoon of cornflour/starch to get crispiness. Also, add another tablespoon to the oil mix to dry them out more. Also, cutting them chunky inhibits crispiness.
