This is incredibly good. So simple. The lemon adds a gorgeous tang. I nearly sieved mine because l thought that the blackberry seeds would be unpleasant in there, but actually l didn't notice them at all. The mashed berries add a beautiful texture and no need to get the ice cream maker out.

Love this so much. Made to use up some blackberries, but it is so good, I can see any berry going in to future mixes. Everybody who has tried it has requested the recipe. Perfect flavour with the edge of lemon to counter the huge richness of the cream.

Have made this a few times, once with strawberries instead of blackberries, and have loved it every time. So easy it's almost cheating and I found the balance of lemon in the recipe just to my taste. Yum!

It was fun to make, but when it came to eating, it was too lemony for me. I recommend using half, but was very nice otherwise.

Might try making with whipping cream next time, to see if it gets a softer set. This is a personal whim as It will be hard to improve on perfection! Thank you to whoever worked this brilliant mix out.
