Comforting Cottage Pie

Ingredients
- 4 Potatoes
- 500g Mince
- 1 Large Carrot
- 1 White Onion
- Table Spoon Tomato Puree
- Healthy Splash Red Wine (approx small glass measure)
- Thyme
- 1 Tine Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 close garlic
- 300ml beef stock
Method
- STEP 1Preheat oven to 200/Gas 6
- STEP 2Dice onion and carrots
- STEP 3Brown mince and cook carrots and onions together
- STEP 4Add the chopped tomatoes, puree, wine, garlic, beef stock and thyme, simmer for 30 mins stirring occasionally
- STEP 5Whilst that is cooking, boil the potatoes. Then mash (butter and milk optional)
- STEP 6Add mince etc into a dish, spread mash evenly across the top
- STEP 7Cook for approx 30 mins until slightly potato is slightly crispy
