• 4 Potatoes
  • 500g Mince
  • 1 Large Carrot
  • 1 White Onion
  • Table Spoon Tomato Puree
  • Healthy Splash Red Wine (approx small glass measure)
  • Thyme
  • 1 Tine Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 close garlic
  • 300ml beef stock


  • STEP 1
    Preheat oven to 200/Gas 6
  • STEP 2
    Dice onion and carrots
  • STEP 3
    Brown mince and cook carrots and onions together
  • STEP 4
    Add the chopped tomatoes, puree, wine, garlic, beef stock and thyme, simmer for 30 mins stirring occasionally
  • STEP 5
    Whilst that is cooking, boil the potatoes. Then mash (butter and milk optional)
  • STEP 6
    Add mince etc into a dish, spread mash evenly across the top
  • STEP 7
    Cook for approx 30 mins until slightly potato is slightly crispy
