Chocolate fondant

This will be just right if your just starting to cook ever at home or at work


  • 500g of dark chocolate 80%
  • 475g of unsalted butter
  • 12 free range egg yolks
  • 9 free range full eggs
  • 250g of sugar
  • 100g plan flour
  • 50g coco powder


  • STEP 1
    Separate your 12 eggs on me making sure you have york placed into a ball then add the 9 hole eggs and the sugar in to a mixer for 15-20 mins till light and fluffy
  • STEP 2
    Place a little water in a pan and place a ball with the chocolate and the butter to melt (add a little salt to this it will make it more richer)
  • STEP 3
    Now get your tins line them with butter and coco powder well so they don't become stuck in the tin
  • STEP 4
    Wen the eggs are reddy siv the coco powder and flour in to the eggs and then add the butter and chocolate wen melted whisk well then add to your tins ( cooking at 180-for about 9 minutes
