  • 500g Boneless Chicken
  • 150g White Onion
  • 1tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1/2tsp Crushed Ginger
  • 3-4 Fresh Green Chillies
  • 200g Red Tomatoes
  • 2tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2tsp Butter
  • 1/4-1/2tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Fresh Green Capsicum
  • 1/2tsp Whole Cumin
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • For Garnishing:
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves,sliced red onions and lemon wedges


    1. Finely chop onions and green chillies in a food processor. Cut red tomatoes & capsicum into bite size pieces
    2. Heat vegetable oil and butter in a pan. Add the garlic and saute till brown.Then add onion and chilli mix.Saute till leafy
    3. Add whole cumin, black cardamom, tomatoes and chilli powder. Cover and cook on low heat until tomatoes are soft
    4. Add turmeric powder and salt. Now cover and cook on low heat until you see clear oil at the margins
    5. Lightly fry chicken in a separate pan and add this to the above mixture
    6. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add capsicum and fresh tomatoes and green chillies. Add lemon juice and mix. Stir well and sprinkle Garam Masala powder.
    7. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves
    8. Now serve hot with finely sliced red onion and lemon wedges
    9. You can eat Murg Bejor with Rice or Naan
