A big fan of curry and the only way to describe this one is DULL...i added extra chilli powder and a couple of fresh ones too and it lacked some serious flavour....and spice! Won't be making this again. If anyone has any curry recipies with a bit of a kick i'd be grateful if they could share it with me - ta.

Very disappointing and bland. To make this work next time I would add another tsp of haram masala, half a tsp ground coriander and cook the spices for 5 min first with the cumin seeds. I would also add a chilli. Which does make it another recipe!

Found it too bland - next time I will double the spices. Apart from that was lovely. I used the leftovers from a roast chicken and leftover barbequed veg. It definately needs veg in my opinion. Was filling enough without any side dishes because of the potatoes. I left it on a low heat for a couple of hours (while putting kiddie to bed) and it cooked down wonderfully. Would definately make it again - didn't taste low fat. Was lovely, thick and comforting.

This curry was great - I added extra spices as recommended so got the desired kick I needed. Easy to make and even easier to eat.

Really disappointing, very bland with no depth of flavour - added 2 good tablespoons of Pataks paste to give it body :(

As a small business producing my own low-fat curry sauces, I spend a lot of time testing other peoples and, to be honest, found this really bland. It helps a little to really fry the onions until they are a dark reddy-brown so you get a natural 'sweetness' and try adding a spoon of low-fat yoghurt with the tomato to give a little smoothness to the sauce. Also, don't leave it to chance with store bought garam masala - it's easy to find recipes and grind your own - you just cant beat the taste of fresh ground spices!

Very very bland. Mine's just finished cooking and I'm thinking I may have to pep it up a bit. The potatos are still hard. I think the huge amount of water that's added is the culprit. I'll post a decent rogan josh recipe on my blog sometime and share the link with you all.

Sauce very bland and thin but too hot - if that makes sense. Potatoes not at all cooked after specified time so added some tomato puree and salt and left to cook for another hour. Just about edible but would not make again
