1. Butternut, sage & hazelnut quiche

Filled with sweet squash and delicately spiced with nutmeg, this butternut, sage & hazelnut quiche feels positively festive. Once baked you can serve this at room temperature, making it a great option for casual entertaining.

2. Luxury hummus

Whip up a batch of our luxury hummus and serve a generous bowlful alongside your choice of crudités – heritage carrots, radishes and pitta bread all work wonders to brighten up the table. This silky smooth recipe is strewn with pomegranate seeds to keep it feeling Christmassy.

3. Cheese and onion rolls

True to the spirit of Christmas, there should always be an abundance of pastry-based snacks to make the seasonal offerings feel suitably decadent. These vegetarian cheese and onion rolls, decorated with nigella seeds, really hit the spot.

4. Festive red salad

Serve up plenty of crunchy slaw to go alongside your showstoppers – this festive red salad uses seasonal red cabbage, apples and beetroot tossed together and dressed with a zingy redcurrant vinaigrette.

5. Twisty cheese straws

A firm favourite with party guests of all ages, we’re sure a plate of these twisty cheese straws won’t last long! You’ll need to use a vegetarian pesto (made without parmesan) to keep this recipe veggie-friendly, or you can try our recipe for quick cheese straws for an easy alternative.

6. Vegan rainbow spring rolls

Fun to assemble and even more enjoyable to devour, these vegan rainbow spring rolls will add colour and crunch to your buffet. They’re filled with all manner of healthy ingredients – including carrot, mango, courgette and spring onion – and are best served alongside a generous dollop of sweet chilli sauce.

7. Root vegetable tatin with candied nuts & blue cheese

Make a root vegetable tatin with candied nuts & blue cheese for the perfect vegetarian centrepiece on Boxing Day. We especially love the added touch of using caramelised walnuts in this recipe – their crunchy sweetness is so satisfying when paired with the mature cheese on top.

8. Truffled mushroom pâté

With a real sense of indulgence – yet blissfully easy to prepare – this truffled mushroom pâté needs nothing more than a selection of mini crispbreads to be enjoyed. If you’re entertaining more formally, simply spread this vegetarian pâté onto toast squares for a quick and simple canapé.

9. Black & white rice salad with cumin-roasted butternut squash

Vibrant and unusual, another fantastic winter salad is this Persian-inspired black & white rice salad with cumin-roasted butternut squash. The cranberries and pomegranate make this colourful salad even more beautiful to behold.

10. Cinnamon swirl mince pies

Thankfully, there are lots of vegetarian options in our festive dessert collection. These cinnamon swirl mince pies are a modern favourite. Bake a batch as a fun alternative to traditional mince pies for your guests – they’re wonderfully easy to make, too.
