Ingredients
- 500g Boneless Chicken
- 150g White Onion
- 1tsp Crushed Garlic
- 1/2tsp Crushed Ginger
- 3-4 Fresh Green Chillies
- 200g Red Tomatoes
- 2tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/2tsp Butter
- 1/4-1/2tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1/4tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Fresh Green Capsicum
- 1/2tsp Whole Cumin
- 2 Black Cardamom
For Garnishing:
- Fresh Coriander Leaves,sliced red onions and lemon wedges
Method
- STEP 1Finely chop onions and green chillies in a food processor. Cut red tomatoes & capsicum into bite size pieces
- STEP 2Heat vegetable oil and butter in a pan. Add the garlic and saute till brown.Then add onion and chilli mix.Saute till leafy
- STEP 3Add whole cumin, black cardamom, tomatoes and chilli powder. Cover and cook on low heat until tomatoes are soft
- STEP 4Add turmeric powder and salt. Now cover and cook on low heat until you see clear oil at the margins
- STEP 5Lightly fry chicken in a separate pan and add this to the above mixture
- STEP 6Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add capsicum and fresh tomatoes and green chillies. Add lemon juice and mix. Stir well and sprinkle Garam Masala powder.
- STEP 7Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves
- STEP 8Now serve hot with finely sliced red onion and lemon wedges
- STEP 9You can eat Murg Bejor with Rice or Naan
