Ingredients

  • 4oz marg
  • 4 oz caster sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4oz SR flour
  • 1oz Cocoa

Icing

  • 4oz marg
  • 4 oz caster sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4oz SR flour
  • 1oz Cocoa
  • 2oz butter
  • 3 Tbls water
  • 8oz icing sugar
  • 2oz cocoa

Method

  • STEP 1
    Cream sugar & marg
  • STEP 2
    Gradually beat in eggs
  • STEP 3
    Fold in flour and cocoa and put teaspoonful of mix in each case
  • STEP 4
    Icing - melt butter & water together in pan, remove from heat
  • STEP 5
    Beat in cocoa and icing sugar.
  • STEP 6
    Keep icing runny and pour on each cake
