  • 4oz marg
  • 4 oz caster sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4oz SR flour
  • 1oz Cocoa


  • 2oz butter
  • 3 Tbls water
  • 8oz icing sugar
  • 2oz cocoa


  1. Cream sugar & marg

  2. Gradually beat in eggs

  3. Fold in flour and cocoa and put teaspoonful of mix in each case

  4. Icing - melt butter & water together in pan, remove from heat

  5. Beat in cocoa and icing sugar.

  6. Keep icing runny and pour on each cake
