the traditional victoria sponge with jam and butter cream filling! family fave

Ingredients

cake mix

  • 4 eggs
  • 8 oz caster suger
  • 6 oz self rising flour
  • 8 oz margarine
  • 3 genaroes drops of vinilla

filling and decoration

  • icing suger
  • butter cream
  • jam

Method

  1. turn the oven on 175 degrees mix sugar and marge together

  2. add the flour, vinilla and eggs then mix.

  3. grease 2 cake tins and pour the mixture into the tins evenly and put in the oven for 20-25 mins.

  4. when the cake is cooked you put it on the cooling rack and leave for 30 mins to cool.

  5. pick your top and with the other one put the butter cream then jam on top, now put the other one on top.

  6. now with a shiv, shiv the icing sugar on top, put it on a plate and done!!!
