Also known as scallions or green onions, spring onions are in fact very young onions, harvested…

  1. Boil the noodles following pack instructions, adding the green beans for the final 2 mins. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the hoisin, lime juice and chilli sauce. In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil, then fry the mince until nicely browned. Add the garlic and fry for 1 min more. Stir in the hoisin mixture and cook for a few mins more until sticky. Finally, stir in the noodles, beans and half the spring onions to heat through. Scatter over the remaining spring onions to serve.

Made this for the first time. Used pork mince as I prefer it. Added some cauliflower florets, red pepper, chilli, ginger and mushrooms. Used sharwoods med egg noodles. Very nice :)

This recipe is quick, cheap, easy and full of flavour. It's one of my weekday meals now. Another bonus is it's healthy. The whole family loved it.

Lovely quick and cheap dinner. Added some baby corn and half a red chilli. Also used half tbsp sweet chilli sauce and half tbsp hot pepper sauce instead of chilli sauce. Definitely going on the regular dinner list!

Great easy stir fry recipe and a good way to use turkey mince. I would be tempted to add some chilli next time for some added oomph!

I made this tonight and added some Pak Choi and tender stem brocoli to fatten it up a bit, was really tasty. Never tried turkey mince before but really enjoyed it.

I made this for 2 adults and 2 children, so slightly increased the quantities. And, I switched the turkey mince for turkey steaks that I cut into thin strips making it easier for chopsticks. It was very quick, tasty and devoured happily by everyone. I used bottled Sweet Chilli Sauce, which seemed to work really well.

Lovely comfort food and very easy. Added some cauliflower and it could take more veggies (next time I'd try julienned carrots or bok choy) to be a bit healthier - but it's delicious as it is.

A great hit here! Make this regularly substituting the green beans for other veg. Love the flavour combination with the turkey. Making it again peppers tonight, I think!

really yummy - I used turkey strips sliced really thin and added some thin sliced carrots with the beans. I liked the idea of the broccoli too. Thanks for the tip about freezing the Hoi Sin sauce!

So easy & a hit with my guy who can be fussy especially if there are noodles (pasta) around.Though having Ramen Noodles (loved the film) used Amoy - the garlic & chilli I think.Simple & lovely.
