  • 2 cups of fresh basil leaves
  • olive oil
  • ice cube trays

Method

  • STEP 1
    chop basil leaves fine
  • STEP 2
    mix in olive oil to make a thick paste
  • STEP 3
    divide in equal portions in the ice cube trays and put in freezer
  • STEP 4
    when frozen transfer to bags and keep frozen
  • STEP 5
    do not thaw before use but add the frozen cubes strait in your pasta sauces, etc
