Ingredients

  • 300g fresh scottish broad kelp,

Method

  • STEP 1
    wash the kelp in cold water
  • STEP 2
    soak in fresh water for 5 - 10 mins
  • STEP 3
    cut the kelp into crisp size pieces
  • STEP 4
    place on a baking tray (no grease or oil)
  • STEP 5
    place in a hot oven at 200/fan 220/gass 6
  • STEP 6
    for 10 mins
  • STEP 7
    the kelp will turn green then brown ,
  • STEP 8
    remove from oven when crisp
  • STEP 9
    serve hot or cold
