Ingredients

  • 1 lb minced beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/4 pt beef stock
  • 5 oz can tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 15 oz can baked beans
  • Crumble topping
  • 3 oz oats
  • 1 oz plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 oz cheese
  • 1 1/2 oz marg/butter

Method

  • STEP 1
    Heat oven to 200.
  • STEP 2
    Heat olive oil in pan add onion and carrot. Fry gently for 5 mins.
  • STEP 3
    Add minced beef and fry for 3-4 mins.
  • STEP 4
    Add stock with tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for ten minutes. Stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 5
    Make crumble
  • STEP 6
    Mix oats with flour, oregano and greated cheese. Stir in melted butter.
  • STEP 7
    Stir baked beans into beef and transfer to dish.
  • STEP 8
    Sprinkle cumble on top, bake for 30 mins.
