Love finding alternatives to breakfast. I have just posted all about the dangers of eating cereal, and a great porridge alternative. http://thenourishingroad.blogspot.com/2012/01/cereal-killers-and-why-i-love-porridge.html Check it out!

The addition of bananas into the cooking pan is a great idea! I didn't have any strawberries so added some blueberries and omitted the yoghurt. I also cut down on the sugar. Still tasted delicious and indeed a good way to use up those bruised bananas. However, this recipe will never feed 4 if you are feeding a husband and growing boys! I didn't quite double up, just added some extra oats and milk.

This sounds good. I must try it without so much sugar though. I like the idea of adding the bananas before cooking.
