Method

  1. Heat oven to 190C/170C fan/gas 5. Put all the ingredients into a large, wide ovenproof dish. Mix everything together with your hands and season.

  2. Bake for 45 mins, stirring the onions after 20 mins, until the chicken is golden and the onions tender. Serve with rice.

Having read the comments I too adjusted the recipe: Thin slices of chorizo Courgette Pimenton Picante instead of Paprika Garlic with fresh parsley Passata The lemon still came through but the right amount, it was lovely I cooked it for longer than stated in an oven terracota dish.

Delish, easy to do fuss free. added a clove of garlic used chicken thighs and drumsticks served over boiled rice. family loved it, lemony taste was subtle. will def make again.

Used less lemon and added crushec garlic, sun dried tomatoes and some black olives. YUMMY!

Nice, quick and tasty. Did it with couscous and lemon juice, and lemon zest, healthy summery dish, served with broccoli on the side.

This is a regular in our house, and it works really well if you add chorizo. Great flavours and lots of juices to mop up,just right this time of the year.
