- 1 whole chicken or 4 chicken legs, skin on
- 1tsp salt
- 200g butter
- 1.5 pints of lager
- Rub the salt into the chicken and place onto a deep baking tray If chicken legs are used, place these from the side with less skin.
- Chop the butter into wide thin pieces and cover the top of the chicken.
- Pour the lager into the baking tray and place this into the oven. The oven should be pre-heated to 240C. After 20 min turn the chicken on the other side and cover this with the rest of the butter. Bake for a further 20 min until golden.
