How to make prosecco cocktails in minutes
Love prosecco? Give your fizz some added perk by trying one of BBC Good Food’s 10 quick and easy prosecco cocktails, ideal for the time-pressed party host.
Points to remember
- Tilt the glass at a 45° angle when pouring sparkling wine and pour it slowly, allowing the bubbles to subside a little first before adding more.
- Either add heavier syrups and liqueurs first, or pour them in very slowly against the side of the glass into the prosecco so that they sink and form distinct layers.
- Create twists of orange or lemon by cutting long strips from the fruit using a vegetable peeler.
- To stick a decorative mixture of sugar and cinnamon to the rim of the glass (as for the Christmas pear prosecco) first dip the rim of the glass in water, then into the sugar.
