How to make frozen cocktails

All you need is an ice cube tray and a blender to make these easy frozen cocktails – whizz up a slushie-style cosmopolitan, piña colada and espresso martini.

Frozen cosmopolitan slushies (serves 2)

  1. Pour 250ml cranberry juice into an ice cube tray and freeze. 
  2. Pour 100ml vodka and 50ml triple sec into a jug.
  3. Add 1 tbsp lime juice and the cranberry ice cubes. Blend together. 
  4. Serve and garnish with orange zest.  

Frozen piña colada slushies (serves 2)

  1. Pour 250ml pineapple juice into an ice cube tray and freeze. 
  2. Pour 100ml white rum into a jug.  
  3. Add 100ml coconut cream and the pineapple ice cubes. Blend together. 
  4. Serve and garnish with pineapple chunks

Frozen espresso martini slushies (serves 2)

  1. Pour 250ml cooled coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze. 
  2. Pour 75ml vodka and 25ml coffee liqueur into a jug. 
  3. Add 1 tbsp sugar syrup and the coffee ice cubes. Blend together. 
  4. Serve and garnish with coffee beans
