  • 2 cocktail sticks


  1. Blend the strawberries then push the resulting puree through a sieve to remove some of the seeds. Tip the sieved puree into the blender again and add the ice, rum and lime juice. Blend again and divide the mixture between 2 Martini glasses.

  2. Thread the lime slices and strawberry halves onto the cocktail sticks and place onto the edge of the glass, serve immediately.

The best white rum I have been informed to use, is what the Cubans recommend with (white rum) cocktails which is Havana Club Anejo 3 Anos.

This is not a good strawberry daiquiri recipe. Not enough rum, and the ingredients don't call for sugar? You need sugar in a strawberry daiquiri. Everyone was disappointed by the drinks that came from this recipe. Add more rum and most definitely had sugar in some form otherwise just don't bother with this recipe

I agree. I found that adding simple syrup (which is just sugar in water brought to the boil and then cooled in the fridge) helped improve the sweetness.
