Turn oven on to 170 degrees or gass mark 5.

Mix the flour, sugar, butter and vanilla essence into a bowl.

Add the eggs to the mix.

Once mixed, pour mixture into cake tins.

Put in the oven for 15-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Once the cakes are ready, take them out of the oven. Pipe the icing onto the cupcakes and add the flowers.
