  • 125g caster sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 225g self raising flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp green food colour

For the icing...

  • 125g black ready roll fondant icing
  • Edible glue
  • Black food colour (if fondant is not black)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180*c gas mark 4

  2. Cream butter and sugars, then add egg and vanilla.

  3. Sift in the flour and salt and then add the green food colour.

  4. Grease or line a baking tray, then dollop even sized blobs of mixture. The size depends on the size of the cookie you would like.

  5. Place in oven for 10/12 minutes until they are soft and crispy on the outside.

  6. Take them out of the oven and leave them to harden on a wire cooling rack for 5 minutes.

  7. Roll out the fondant icing and mix in the black food colour if it isn’t already black.

  8. Cut out creeper faces which you can find on the internet by searching up Minecraft creeper face. Glue them onto the cookies using the edible glue.

  9. These are delicious warm and they also store well as long as don’t get eaten up straight away!!
