Ingredients

Cake

  • 4 oz margarine
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz self raising flour
  • (Angela normally makes the above x 3)
  • For chocolate cake subsist some of flour for drinking chocolate & some for icing sugar on topping.
  • This recipe is found in the Be-ro book

Topping

  • 1 oz margarine
  • add icing sugar until desired consistency is reached ( approx 4 oz)
  • few drops of vanilla essence.
  • For bigger cake 4 x ingredients

Method

  1. Melt margarine in microwave

  2. Add sugar, cream together.

  3. Add flour and egg mix together.

  4. Bake in oven at 150 for cake about 180 for buns. Cake approx 30 minutes Buns approx 15 minutes until firm to touch.

  5. For a cake in a roasting tin 3 x ingredients, line roasting dish with greaseproof paper, greasing well. It will take about 1 hour to cook.
