  • 4 pork steaks
  • bunch of spring onions
  • 2tbsp rice wine or dry sherry
  • 6 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 4tsp light muscavado sugar

    Method

    • step 1

      put the marinade ingredients in a freezer bag with the pork shake to coat and leave for at least an hour
    • step 2

      heat grill to medium put pork steaks in pan cook for about 8 minutes until sticky and glazed, turning over halfway through and spoon marinade on every so often once the meat is cooked remove from a pan and leave on plate to rest put remaining marinade in a pan and boil until syrupy slice the pork, spoon over reduced marinate and scatter spring onions
