• Water (amount depends on the spice mix)
  • 8 Vegetarian sausages of your choice
  • Sausage Casserole mix
  • A pinch of Rosemary
  • a pinch of thyme
  • 1 Large carrot
  • 2 Peppers
  • 2 Onion
  • 1/2 Mushrooms
  • Any spare veg lying around
  • A can of haricot beans if you want more protein
  • Oil for frying


  • STEP 1
    Start cooking sausages so they are brown and not going to be soggy when put in casserole. While these are cooking fry the onion, pepper, carrot and any other veg.
  • STEP 2
    Place sausages and veg into the slow cooker and make up mix sachet. Once the sauce is made up, add it to the slow cooker
  • STEP 3
    Place slow cooker on either four hours high or eight hours low. Serve with either mash, jacket potato or bread
