  • 1 Galia melon
  • juice 1 lemon

  • 50ml orange liqueur (we used Cointreau)
  • 750ml white wine
  • ½ cucumber, sliced
  • small bunch mint

  • 300ml sparkling water or sparkling wine
  • ice


  1. Cut the melon in half and scoop out and discard the seeds. Using a melon baller cut the fruit into spheres and place in a large punch bowl. Add the lemon juice, Pimm's, orange liqueur and white wine then chill in the fridge for 1-2 hrs.

  2. To serve, add the cucumber pieces, mint sprigs and top with sparkling water and ice.

This was a huge hit at a family BBQ. I just left out the mint as I hate it, but have used basil and that's nice
