- 50ml rose petal vodka (make your own if preferred – see tip below)
- 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 25ml egg white
- 5ml absinthe
- strip of orange zest
Put all the ingredients except the orange zest in a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice). Add ice to the shaker and shake again. Strain into an absinthe glass or small wineglass and squeeze the strip of orange zest on top of the drink for the aroma, then discard it.
Make your own rose petal vodkaCombine 500ml vodka with 200g caster sugar and 1 tsp rose water. Stir well to dissolve the sugar, and store in a bottle.
