Method

  1. Boil the pasta. Meanwhile, tip the tuna and its oil into a large bowl with the pesto. Mash together with a wooden spoon. Stir in a third of the cheese and all of the tomatoes. Heat the grill to high.

  2. When the pasta is cooked, drain and toss through the pesto mix. Tip into a shallow baking dish and scatter with the remaining cheese. Place the dish under the grill for 3-4 mins until just melted, then serve with a green salad and garlic bread.

Nice recipe, anyone who prefers the sour flavor can try to use 130g pesto + 60g mustard instead of 190g pesto.

A really nice storecupboard recipe. I used tuna in water, with an added splosh of ev olive oil, and roughly chopped big tomatoes rather than halved cherry ones, as that's what I had, and it still came out very tasty. Definitely one to remember for the future!

Made this for the whole family and even my son who doesn't love tuna really enjoyed it. very easy to make and the ingredients are all things you can have in the cupboard.

Absolutely delicious! We all enjoyed this, and it's quick and easy to put together. I used red pepper pesto, drained the oil from the tuna and stirred in some cooked (frozen) spinach. I also made sure all the ingredients were hot before I put it under the grill, as, on my first attempt, it wasn't hot all the way through. A regular addition the family menu!

my family just feel in love with this recipe. i made a mixture of pesto: green and red pesto. The result was just delicious!!

This was so easy & delicious. I love pesto so there wasn't too much for me. I would quarter the tomatoes next time.

I followed the actual recipe and it was delicious. I made it with red pesto and my family all loved it. Will definately make again.
