Really like this and very easy to customise to make best use of what needs using up. I added some rocket leaves. Agree the yogurt and coriander make it a bit more special. Ideal to make in double quantities and freeze. Probably a bit to hearty for a starter but perfect for lunch.

I wasn't expecting this to be anything special, but the other reviews persuaded me to give it a go & actually it was delicious. The fresh coriander definitely gave it another dimension.

I tried this soup this week. It was absolutely fab. I even had it the next day for lunch at work.

Made this today for my to boys off school with flu. Its very good, one of the best vegetable soups I've made too. I followed the ingredients exactly as I had them all in. Would also add neep (turnip) too but didn't this time. Its as good as the sweet potato and lentil and the Gary Rhodes spicy potato soup, these are also both excellent and have been passed on to many people. Another winner!

Delicious. I added swede to the menu. I have made many vegetable soups in the past but this wins hands down.

Delicious! Was a bit dubious about the amount of milk but don't be - I couldn't tell it was there and it made it so lovely and... silky? It's yummy without the garnish, but the yogurt and coriander just added that extra mmmm.

Delicious. I reduced the amount of stock cube : water so I can feed it to my seven month old. He loves it too!

The spices make this a great recipe. I used ordinary potatoes, which worked fine.

Thought this recipe was so easy to make and tasted great. Added 1 extra potato, parsnip and carrot and an extra chilli too. Had 2 bowls with Tiger Bread and was full for the rest of the night!!

Gorgeous, and freezes wonderfully. Perfect food for this cold weather. Have made many soups of this type but this one had a particular fluffiness to it (probably the sweet potato) that made it my favourite so far!
