I made this last night as I needed a quick, healthy meal to rustle up and wanted to try something new. Super easy and a complete hit in our house. My husband and son loved it. I used Beef Skirt to keep the costs down. I added a tad more oyster sauce and next time I will definitely add in some sliced carrots, sugar snaps and red pepper etc for a bit of colour. Also, my family could have taken more heat so I'll add more chilli next time but for those times when you need to make a super quick meal, this is a great one and I will be adding it to my 'quick meals' collection :-)

This was a lovely simple recipe for a Saturday night. I did some finely sliced carrots (for colour) and tenderstem broccoli with rice noodles in a separate pan which went well. The only thing i would change would be to heat the sauce and chilli first then remove from pan and fry the meat really quickly for a couple of mins then pour over the sauce as I found that cooking the meat then adding sauce and bringing up to heat overcooked my steak slightly.

I didn't add the basil but added a good veg mix for stir frying and a portion on noodles mixed in instead of rice to serve.

This was lush! I cooked this for me and my mum, I added alot more sauce after reading comments that it was dry and I added quite alot of basil by cutting it up finely and putting it in with the sauce and it wasn't dry at all this way. Me and my mum found the chilli a bit much (we might just be wimps) so next time I'll leave out the chilli. But for such little ingredients it was absolutely delicious!

Lovely and quick recipe. I read the comments below before cooking and added baby corn, mushrooms, spring onions and cashew nuts to the dish. Will be making this again for sure

A favourite in our house. I added onion and garlic too, was very tasty. However, I'd say the recipe is for 2 not 4, unless we're really big eaters :) Very yummy and soooooo fast its unbelievable

Amazing recipe!!! Very quick, easy and tasty. I'm not a big fan of beef but this is great! I didn't have basil so added flaked almond and I love it!
