A very easy dessert. I couldn't find cookie dough in Waitrose or Asda so I bought a pack of powdered cookie mix which worked well although the quantity of dough was less than in the recipe. I have since found the cookie dough (in the correct quantity) in Sainsburys so have bought it and will try the recipe again soon. It was delicious served with custard and ice cream.

I've made this many times and it has often caused people to ask for the recipe! Super easy and super delicious, especially straight from the oven with vanilla ice-cream. Plus, it's great because you can keep the ingredients in stock and whip up a fantastic pudding at the last minute if needed!

I made the basic biscuit dough recipe and added chocolate chips - great taste. This is quick and easy to make a great alternative to a crumble.

I used a tin of summer fruit pie filling instead of frozen fruit and chocolate chip cookie dough and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream this is the dessert that has my kids cheering at teatime.

Please help-can't find supplier of Saxby's cookie dough in Scotland (Sainsbury's/Tesco no longer stock and Ocado don't deliver here!) - does anyone have any idea where I could buy this or suggest an easy alternative? Thank you.
