Method

  1. Mix the mince, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, half each of the coriander and onion, and some seasoning until combined. Form into 4 burgers, then chill until ready to cook.

  2. To make the guacamole, mash the avocado with the remaining coriander and onion, the chilli and lime juice, and season.

  3. Heat a griddle pan or barbecue until hot. Griddle the rolls, cut-side down, for 1 min, then keep warm. Brush the burgers with the oil to keep them from sticking. Cook for 7-8 mins on each side until charred and cooked through. Fill the rolls with the burgers, guacamole and peppadews.

Made these at the weekend. Added extra Worcestershire sauce,extra fresh chilli and used 500g mince. It made 5 good sized burgers that didn't lose their shape when baked in the oven(no oil added). My husband and 3 teens said they were the best 'Turkey mince'dish I had made,so will definitely be keeping the recipe. A bargain on calories, value and taste.

Made these last night and they turned out great. I added a finely chopped fresh chilli and the juice of half a lime and served on wholemeal rolls with lettuce, tomato and the guacamole - delicious!

Great tasting burgers. Added more Worcestershire sauce than the recipe and it did not overpower the burgers (2tbsp). Also added some sweet chilli sauce to the burgers. I had no lime for the Guacamole and It was lovely. It seems you can tweak this and it's still a success. Went down very well with my wife.

Simple and tasty burgers. I used lean turkey thigh mince and plenty of seasoning with 2 tsp of Worcester sauce. Also added a tomato to the guacamole. First time hubby's enjoyed turkey burgers, normally says they're a bit bland. I'd make them again.

Lovely...and very healthy. I added more Worcestershire sauce, coriander and avocado than the recipe suggested - it was scrummy. It was so good my boyfriend and I scoffed it all in one night.
