Ingredients

  • 600ml fresh Double Cream (don't be tempted to use Elmlea!)
  • 2 x 397g tins Condensed Milk
  • Vanilla Essence

Method

  • STEP 1
    Beat the cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  • STEP 2
    Add the condensed milk and mix well.
  • STEP 3
    Add essence to taste.
  • STEP 4
    Pour into freezer-safe container and freeze for minimum 24 hours.
  • STEP 5
    ALTERNATIVES :
  • STEP 6
    Replace the vanilla essence with any of the following :
  • STEP 7
    * Crushed Crunchie Bar and caramel sauce
  • STEP 8
    * Fresh raspberries and fruit sauce
  • STEP 9
    * Grated chocolate and chocolate sauce
  • STEP 10
    * Rhubarb compote and crushed shortbread biscuits
  • STEP 11
