Ingredients
- 600ml fresh Double Cream (don't be tempted to use Elmlea!)
- 2 x 397g tins Condensed Milk
- Vanilla Essence
Method
- STEP 1Beat the cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- STEP 2Add the condensed milk and mix well.
- STEP 3Add essence to taste.
- STEP 4Pour into freezer-safe container and freeze for minimum 24 hours.
- STEP 5ALTERNATIVES :
- STEP 6Replace the vanilla essence with any of the following :
- STEP 7* Crushed Crunchie Bar and caramel sauce
- STEP 8* Fresh raspberries and fruit sauce
- STEP 9* Grated chocolate and chocolate sauce
- STEP 10* Rhubarb compote and crushed shortbread biscuits
