Ingredients
- 3oz of self-raising flour
- 3oz caster sugar
- 3oz butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 dsp of cocoa powder
- 1 dsp of milk
For the icing
- 2 tsp of icing sugar
- 1 dsp of cocoa powder
- 2 tsp of nutella
- 2 tsp of brown sugar
- 2 tsp of milk
- 1 tsp of water
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Method
- STEP 1Pre-heat the oven to 200oC. Get a 7 inch cake tin and put on the grease proof paper.
- STEP 2Get a mixing bowl and a scales and weigh the caster sugar and the butter then mix together until you get a creamy mixture.
- STEP 3Then mix in the self-raising flour and the cocoa powder into the creamy mixture, mix thoroughly.
- STEP 4Whisk 1 egg in a cup then add your milk to the cup the to the mixture. Put the mixture into the cake tin then to the oven for 15 minutes.
- STEP 5Now for the icing get a seperate bowl and add 2 tsp of icing sugar, 1 tsp of water, 2 tsp of nutella, 2 tsp of milk, 2 tsp of brown sugar, 1 dsp of cocoa powder and then 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
- STEP 6Once cake is ready leave on a cooling rack for 15 minutes, the apply the icing to the top of the cake and walla youve got you'r Chocolate Suprise ready to eat.
