Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raisins, currents, dried apricots diced or any dried fruit
  • 2 tsp treacle (molasses)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinamon
  • 1 cup oats

Method

  • STEP 1
    Combine the dried fruit and molasses in a pot of water with a pinch of salt and cinamon. Put a lid on and bring to boil.
  • STEP 2
    Once you have a rolling boil remove lid and add oats stirring occaisionally
  • STEP 3
    It is done when the liquid has been absorbed (there will be a syrupy liquid left). Serve with milk, rice milk, soy milk etc.
