- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup raisins, currents, dried apricots diced or any dried fruit
- 2 tsp treacle (molasses)
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinamon
- 1 cup oats
- Combine the dried fruit and molasses in a pot of water with a pinch of salt and cinamon. Put a lid on and bring to boil.
- Once you have a rolling boil remove lid and add oats stirring occaisionally
- It is done when the liquid has been absorbed (there will be a syrupy liquid left). Serve with milk, rice milk, soy milk etc.
