Soft and gooey cookies,brilliant when served warm.

  • butter,to grease
  • 175g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 125g soft tub margarine
  • 100g light muscovado sugar
  • 40g caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (not essence)
  • 1 egg
  • 125g maltesers,coarsly chopped


    1. Preheat the oven to 190C and grease two baking trays.
    2. Beat all the ingrediants in a mixing bowl until well combined.
    3. Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking trays spaced well apart.
    4. bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool.
