Ingredients

  • 100g Good Quality Plain Chocolate (Milk works but wont be as rich)
  • 35g Butter
  • Optional
  • Pinch Ground Cinnamon

Tablespoon of Fruit Syrup (Perfect if you are using the sauce for tinned fruit)

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method

  • STEP 1
    To make the chocolate sauce, tip the chocolate and butter into a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering hot water. (take care to ensure the bottom of the bowl is not in contact with the water). Stir until the chocolate has combined with the butter.
  • STEP 2
    Add one of the optional ingredients and stir
  • STEP 3
    Serve Immediately.
