Excellent for lockdown. We absolutely adored this meal and I can't wait to make it again. It was one of those meals that vanished before your eyes.

Clean plates all round! Really lovely meal, thanks for sharing. I made my own stock and added extra butter and parmesan to the dish before serving, so it was very rich and tastey.

It’s nice but a bit bland. I put different seasonings in and cheese and it was still a bit plain

Such a quick, easy recipe for a tasty midweek meal. I halve pretty much all the ingredients (except the peas, which I keep almost the same) to make dinner for two and it works perfectly, taking around 15 mins. Just be sure to add plenty of seasoning!

Great midweek meal. Such a simple, yet really tasty, risotto. I use homemade chicken stock for maximum flavour, fry the bacon first before the onions, and add a handful of spinach at the end once off the heat.

How on earth has this been given "5 minutes" as a prep time when you have to cut bacon and chop onion finely?

Hello! Esther from the food team here. Yes this can be frozen. Defrost before thoroughly reheating in a saucepan. Thanks for your question!

Is that one liter of broth for the recipe? I will look up the other measurements to get the conversions.

Loved this recipe, very quick and easy and everyone enjoyed it - perfect for a quick but wholesome mid-week meal. Would recommend using back bacon and cutting the fat off rather than using streaky though, as the fat can go a bit rubbery whilst simmering.
