Greek moussaka

Ingredients

  • 2 uien
  • 2 teentjes knoflook
  • 10 eetlepels olijfolie
  • 500g rundergehakt
  • 1 blikje tomatenblokjes (400g)
  • 1 blikje tomatenpuree (70g)
  • 1/2 zakje bechamelsaus (zakje 50g)
  • 2 1/2 dl melk
  • 2 aubergines
  • 1 eiwit
  • 75 g geraspte parmezaanse kaas
  • zout
  • 2 eieren
  • 1/2 eetlepel boter om in te vetten

Method

    1. Oven voorverwarmen op 225 C. Uien en knoflook pellen en snipperen.
    2. In pan 3 eetlepels olie verhitten en gehakt al omscheppend rul meebakken.
    3. Tomatenblokjes laten uitlekken en met tomatenpuree toevoegen aan gehatk. Saus ca. 10 minuten zachtjes laten pruttelen.
    4. Intussen bechamelsaus met melk volgens gebruiksaanwijzing bereiden.
    5. Aubergines wassen en in plakken van ca. 1 cm snijden. In grote koekenpan rest van olie in gedeelten verhitten en aubergineplakken in gedeelten bruin bakken.
    6. Eiwit stijf kloppen en bechamelsaus en 1/3 deel van kaas erdoor spatelen. Ovenschaal invetten. Aubergines in lagen in ovenschaal leggen en bestrooien met zout.
    7. Eieren breken en door tomatensaus roeren. Op smaak brengen met zout. Saus over aubergines schenken en gladstrijken. Bestrooien met rest van kaas. In midden van oven in ca. 20 minuten gaar en mooi goudbruin bakken.
    8. Serveren met gemengde groene sla en brood.
