Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Method
- STEP 1Preheat the oven to 170C/fan 150C/gas 5.
- STEP 2Whisk together the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add the eggs and vanilla and mix.
- STEP 3Blend in flour, baking powder and salt, then stir in the chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- STEP 4Spread the batter into a 5cm deep, 15cm wide pan and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
- STEP 5Remove, cool on wire rack and cut into squares.
