We all need to eat, but our food choices shouldn’t literally cost the earth. The production, packaging, cooking and waste management of food has a huge environmental impact.

We are committed to being transparent and finding realistic solutions to these issues, as we face the same ones ourselves in our test kitchen, at our video and photo shoots, when we test products, and in the way we publish content.

We’ll always try and explore real-life solutions for us and you, and will be honest about what we can do and when. We’ll try to be holistic in our approach to cutting waste and our carbon footprint, but we know there are many different ways to make an impact, not all of which will suit us or you.

We recognise that solutions are always changing and that one size does not fit all, where you live, how you live and what resources you have at your disposal are personal to you.

We’ll share ideas with you every month, online at goodfood.com, via our social media channels and in print and we’ll make changes to our content when it needs updating.

This is a complex problem, and we won’t pretend to have all the answers – we will bring in experts and take advice from those who we value as sources as trusted as ourselves. We would like you to come on this journey with us and give us feedback either on how you think we’re doing, or how you think we could do better.
