Based in Manchester, Tony Naylor has spent over a decade writing about food and drink for a variety of national outlets, most regularly The Guardian, Restaurant Magazine and BBC Good Food. In that 10 years, he has delved into every nook and cranny of British food (and beer!), from interviewing the UK’s top chefs to eating at over 1,000 budget venues the length and breadth of Britain for a much-loved Guardian Travel series. As well as his opinion column for Good Food, Tony also writes The Guardian’s How To Eat series, a monthly tirade for Restaurant Magazine and myriad features for all three. Prior to all this, Tony wrote about music, culture and the arts (The Face, NME, RA, Muzik, Arena), and, occasionally, he still does.
